In addition to this, Trying to use any of the items that were there are
no longer there. Typing Synaptic into the alt+f2 prompt, says it's not

I don't know right now since i thought that the novaue(or how ever you spell
it) drivers did not support 3d properly yet. If they do which im about to
investigate i'll see if i can reproduce it with them.
