I've tested different versions of libgl1-mesa-dri with no success. The
oldest I tried was version 6.3.2-2.1 because version 6.3.2-2 need a
package named libdrm1 that doesn't exist any more and version 6.3.2-1
breaks a lot of dependancies including xscreensaver-gl. I can't go

My system (thinkpad t23) have been affected by this bug for a very long
time. It worked correctly with xorg before 7.0 or 7.1, then a kernel
module bug appeared making DRI unusable. When a workaround was found, I
had this bug but another one crashed x11 when certain apps tried to
change screen

It also worked with my ThinkPad T23, but there are still some problems
that doesn't occured when I recently used Ubuntu edgy:
- FPS text doesn't display on XScreensaver-GL modules
- Character is invisible in FreeDroidRPG
The GLUT API reject my OpenWindow request if I require ALPHA. Think the
I use Debian testing and I have exactly the same problem since the last
dist-upgrade today (it worked very nice before).
Trying "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg" with different parameters doesn't
change anything.
My machine is a "IBM ThinkPad T23" laptop with a PIII 1Ghz, 512MB RAM,
and a 16MB
orced each time to wait until the end of the search, then set it to
name only and re-launch the search again to have the good
result.
My computer isn't very fast so it makes me really bored sometimes, so I
would be really glad if the search could be defaulted to
name only.
