After a half hour of debugging and running into the same brick wall as
Chris in this bug, and Soeren, David, Mattia, Pete, and others in
#418990, I finally found that earlier bug in the bug database. Not
surprisingly, installing libgnomevfs2-extra fixed my problem, as well.

I can report that I'm having the same problem with wpasupplicant
0.6.0-2 and a ZyAir G-220 USB wifi adapter using the zd1211 driver.
I'll attach my wpa_supplicant.conf, and the output of "wpa_supplicant
-i wlan0 -D wext -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf". You'll see that the
supplicant just tries to sc

More on this bug: if I copy /etc/mono/config to ~/.mono, then f-spot
runs. According to strace, it appears to be looking for mono stuff in
/usr/etc, which is an odd path to be looking for anything on a Debian
system.
