It is probably too late to prevent the autoremoval from testing, but I
just wanted to let everyone know that the issue triggering this bug
report (as well as a few other incompatibilities with newer matplotlib
and numpy versions) has been fixed in the recent 1.4.2 release:
Package: libreoffice-writer
Version: 1:3.5.2-2ubuntu1
Severity: normal
This has originally been reported in the Ubuntu bugtracker for Ubuntu 12.04
(libreoffice 3.5.2-2ubuntu1) by Franck:

Hi all,
may I cast my vote for removing /all/ the ttf-lyx fonts from the font
selector? While e.g. the cmr10 font can be used for normal text, its
use often leads to problems due to its non-standard use of glyphs. At
least in the Ubuntu bug tracker there are quite a few bugs about
people using
Sorry, I did not make this clear in my comment in the Ubuntu bug
tracker: The current stable release (2.4.4) already contains the fix,
so upgrading would make this patch unnecessary.

This has been reported in the Ubuntu bugtracker

With that rules file the pstoedit package succesfully builds (actually, this

Hi,
Yes, the new debhelper rules are nice. :-) But I won't change it for the
(frozen) squeeze release. (But of course for squeeze+1.)
sure, there's no need for rush.
Your report kinda suggests that the package doesn't build. As far as I
can see in the buildd logs, it built on all 14
It looks like a buildd problem and not a problem with my package. The build
dependency exists -

The -dev package is called libpodofo-dev, not libpodofo0.8.0-dev,

There's also an Ubuntu bug (there are no Ubuntu changes to the joe
package) about this:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/joe/+bug/615320
Building from the source package I can only reproduce the bug if I use
the configure options --sysconfdir=/etc --prefix=/usr.
The backtrace is:

There's a new stable unstable version of scribus-ng that should fix a couple
of bugs in the currently shipped version.
