Linux-Image-3.2.9-1 does not freeze AND the atheros card works!!
I noticed that it sometimes (very rarely) goes off line but recovers itself in
a couple seconds unlike before that it needed modprobe -r ath9k, modprobe
ath9k to come up again.
I have been testing for about 3 days with no issues,
Hi there, this behavior does not happen anymore.
I am not sure when it stopped happening but it was a 2-3 months ago.
Thanks!!

As far as I am concerned this is fixed in 4.6.5 and you may close this bug :)
Thanks a lot!

Sorry to report, but after several weeks of usage, it still happens, in the
two systems where I have this wireless card.
If there is anything I can do to help figure out what the issue is (other than
check the code!), let me know.

Hi Maximilian!
Now that Linux 3.0 has hit testing, I am using it.
So far so good, but will email you in a couple of days of usage to be sure.
Thanks!

After using it for some days, the issue seems to still be there but manifests
itself in a different way.
Before 38-5 when the disconnection happened, the only way to get it back was
to modprobe -r ath9k, modprobe ath9k and try to reconect, which usually but
not always worked.
With 38-5 the
I think this is the same as this bug:

I think this is the same as this bug:

The workaround for bug 621036 fixes this bug:
1-Boot in rescue mode
2-rm -Rf /run
3-reboot

Thanks Stefan,
I will test as soon as 38.5 hits testing (or maybe I will game enough to do it
from unstable!)

Package: linux-2.6
Version: 2.6.38-3
Severity: important
File: ath9k
ath9k disconects quite often (around 10 times a day) since upgrading the kernel
to 2.6.38-2.
Workaround is to modprob -r ath9k and then modprob ath9k.
I am happy to test and collect more info, just tell me what to do.
Does this line:

mean that it is trying to set the country to China? I am in Australia, and as
far as I can tell the locale of my system is properly set.

My setup is dualhead with 2 different monitors.
I noticed that dis separation of the K menu only hapens in one monitor. If I

By the way, I sent to this bug the screenshot as attachment but it seems that

Hovering the mouse on top of the login screen is enough to re gain focus to

Hi Daniel,
I am not expert but the issue was found while I was chatting in the irc chanel
for live-helper.
I do not recall the names, sorry, but they were very helpful and asked me to
log this bug.
I will try to make some time this weekend to try again, I saw a couple days
ago that a
Package: live-magic
Version: 1.10
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
live-magic sends disabled to live-helper to disable an option, but this was
used by live-helper 1.x. Live-helper 2.x uses false instead.
This causes live-magic to fail building the image.

About a year or so ago, when Lenny was testing, this was also happening, and
