Package: nzbget Version: 15.0+dfsg-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
The webui no longer displays correctly, it simply shows "Loading... Please wait" in Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. Browser dev tools indicate a javascript error. I believe this is due to an updated dependency. The jquery and bootstrap files required to be in the "/usr/share/nzbget/webui/lib" directory are provided by this package via symlinks to files in other packages. eg: jquery.min.js -> ../../../javascript/jquery/jquery.min.js The relationship between different versions of nzbget, bootstrap, and jquery appears to have created an issue when one of these (I *think* libjs-jquery) was updated. The most recent libjs-jquery (1.11.3+dfsg-3) provides jquery v1.11.3. The version of jquery supplied with nzbget when downloaded manually is v1.7.2. I have addressed the problem on my own system by replacing the symlink for jquery.min.js with the file supplied directly by nzbget. I won't make a recommendation because I'm not sure how this is best addressed. My own solution is possibly window dressing and ignores a underlying problem I've missed. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.14-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages nzbget depends on: ii libc6 2.19-19 ii libgcc1 1:5.2.1-16 ii libgnutls-deb0-28 3.3.17-1 ii libjs-elycharts 2.1.5+ds-2 ii libjs-jquery 1.11.3+dfsg-3 ii libjs-raphael 2.1.0-1 ii libjs-twitter-bootstrap 2.0.2+dfsg-5 ii libncurses5 6.0+20150810-1 ii libstdc++6 5.2.1-16 ii libtinfo5 6.0+20150810-1 ii libxml2 2.9.1+dfsg1-5 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-2+b1 Versions of packages nzbget recommends: ii python 2.7.9-1 Versions of packages nzbget suggests: pn par2 <none> -- no debconf information
