Yes, you're right.
I replaced "require" with "use" and it works.
It's strange that setkey permits using "require" keyword (in
"ipcomp/transport//require") instead of "use" (which works on small packets
not compressing them and works on others using compression). Either Ipcomp
has to compress _a

I installed sarge (i386 arhictecture) on dual opteron, change kernel to last
kernel-image-2.6-amd64-k8-smp (kernel-image-2.6.8-10-amd64-k8-smp) and got
such problem:
