I have the same issue with a Cannon 500D. Maybe the strace trace of gvfs-
gphoto2-volumen-monitor might help here (the camera is connected to
/dev/bus/usb/001/004):

Hi Olivier,
thanks for your bug report. Today I had a look into this and it seems to
be that the wrong translation is part of the libgnomeprint package.
Gnome-photo-printer uses the widget from libgnomeprint at that point.
The same wrong translation will be shown in all gnome application that
output even though it shows in the print preview.
