I think think that, at most, the problem that I reported occurs only
*occasionally*. So, my original bug report - which suggested a constant
or at least frequent problem - was erroneous. Perhaps this bug report
should be closed.

When I update >1 package at once, and whether using Mint's 'Mint Update
tool' or apt, apt-list changes only displays a changelog for *one* of
the packages.
My listchanges.conf file:

When I open a large .deb with gdebi, such as a .deb created by building
the Linux kernel, gdebi - because it is doing some sort of checking or
loading? - does nothing, sometimes for some ten seconds. (This happens
even on a quadcore, i7, nvme SSD laptop with

The program displays this text: 'You can abort the installation if you
select "no"'. Taken literally, that text has this meaning: if you select
'no', then you will be given an opportunity to abort the installation.
Yet, that is not what is meant. What is
