Bug#977440: gmusicbrowser: New version not in testing

2021-02-08 Thread Paolo Inaudi
I suppose 1.1.16 does not solve the underlying issue of gmusicbrowser relying on gtk2. However 1.1.99.1 beta is out supporting gtk3, so it might be worth packaging for experimental! Development is active upstream. Not frenetic, but definitely not dead. Paolo

Bug#976056: nvidia-legacy-340xx-driver: Fails to build with kernel 5.9.11 (package linux-image-5.9.0-4-amd64)

2020-12-06 Thread Paolo Inaudi
@jim_p Is it possible for you to avoid putting all system information and Xorg logs in every message? It makes the thread very difficult to follow on the online bug tracker. I too rolled back to linux-image-5.9.0-3-amd64 which works, hope it won't be my very last kernel version.

Bug#781764: abiword-common: abiword runs when gnome-sessions-daemon starts

I would be really interested to know which purpose is served by that file, and if there is a more permanent workaround: deleting the file means that it will came back the next time abiword-common is updated. Finding abiword open every time I start my PC is quite annoying. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE,

Bug#731591: ucf hangs if you open a shell then you choose to keep your current version of file

2014-05-14 Thread Paolo Inaudi
Well, I'll try to reproduce, actually I worked around the problem doing modification in a conf.d directory instead of on the file itself, so ucf shouldn't prompt me anymore during upgrade. I'm however going to test manually as you did. Thanks Paolo -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to

I actually run e17 on lightdm since long, so probably your issue is not directly related to the display manager. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org

Bug#712696: debian-installer: Add Cinnamon and Mate as alternative DEs.

2013-08-09 Thread Paolo Inaudi
We do not have packages of these, and probably never will. This is not a bug in the installer. The correct way to report that you want a new package is to report a bug against the pseudo-package 'wnpp'. There is already such a bug for MATE, #708385. Ben. This is not right. As of 2012-11-17
