According to zabbix forum, a new release is available.
As usual it fixes bugs and provides new features.
I assume we all want it to enter unstable. Thank you Maintainers ;-)

nt in official sources though...
More, seems it's customized in a specific
way to fit someone's needs.
It won't be hard to fix it though.
Debs was taken from here: http://uit.opf.slu.cz/howto/zabbix.
WONTFIX then or fix and incorporate? ;)
Script attached anyway. Seems simple.
I was playing with zabbix beta 1.3, and found a script that keeps
zabbix-server up, and noticing admin via email that something went
wrong. It's called zabbix_check_server.
So, I'll submit a new wishlist bug rather than messing in here. ;)

As in subject, there is a zabbix resurrector in beta 1.3.
Why not backport it to 1.1 series due to bug #414180 ?

s behavior is a pain, especially if tweaking mysql server or if it
dies. In my eyes, zabbix-server should log db down, and wait for it to
come up, not die in this way.

I was not able to kill zabbix-agent by excessive amount of restarts after this
little hack.

In meanwhile zabbix 1.1.6 has bez released, so I think this bug should
be renamed to 'new zabbix 1.1.6 available' or closed with WONTFIX.
I've also noticed 1.1.6 waiting in experimental for its turn.

.g. since 0.99.4 several ospfd and bgpd crashes have been discovered and
fixed,
people may benefit if there is quagga-latest package. Just a thought.

There's been a new upstream release in the meantime. But beware, pure
0.99.5 release has buggy ospfd (grave bug), which has been fixed in
quagga-latest. This version should actually be used. It also fixes several bgpd
and ospfd
crashes.
Thanks.
