Package: python3-markdown2 Version: 2.4.1-1 Severity: normal Hi,
There is an incompatability between the versions of python3-markdown2 and python3-pygments in bookworm currently. There is a Github issue here explaining the issue: https://github.com/trentm/python-markdown2/issues/438 And the fix merged here: https://github.com/trentm/python-markdown2/pull/437 Essentially Pygments 2.12 (bookworm is currently on 2.14) changed a function signature that python3-markdown2 uses when parsing fenced code blocks, i.e.: ``` foo ``` I think the bugfix was released in python3-markdown2 2.4.3, bookworm is currently on 2.4.1 Thanks, Peter -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-21-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages python3-markdown2 depends on: ii python3 3.11.2-1+b1 python3-markdown2 recommends no packages. python3-markdown2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
