The "llseek" problem is caused by a kernel bug. I thought that the
2.2.19 netwinder kernels in Debian had been patched to fix this, but I
guess I was mistaken about that. Anyway, there isn't a great deal that
we can do in glibc to fix the underlying problem.

Glibc's standard behaviour is to cache the contents of /etc/resolv.conf
across multiple calls to gethostbyname(). I doubt this will change any
time soon.
The solution to this bug is probably for no-ip to call res_init() prior
to attempting resolution, if it suspects

clients. It seems that, when the Windows clients are using NAT-T, they
send a "NAT Original Address" payload, which racoon doesn't understand.

Alternatively, a line in /etc/udev/links.conf to tell udev to create it
for you will also work, but it's the hack way. The above is the accepted

packages.

When trying to install monodevelop using apt, the installation fails and
a broken dependancy is reported. Below is the error receieved when I
attempt to install monodevelop.

People find Anyterm difficult to compile from source, because of the
dependencies on Apache, Boost and Rote. See the Anyterm forum for unending
discussions. A binary package would make life easier for these people. Is it
going to happen?

t can open the file for writing, and
tries and fails to do so and gives up. If it had tried, it could have
opened the file for reading.

, it's not great, but it happens that it
doesn't break anything else I've observed except SFS.
This patch does not solve the bug, but at least it makes the DNS
client more tolerant so that it will work with either UDP or TCP.

The xorg.conf manpage SEE-ALSO section should be updated to refer
to "mouse(4x)" rather than "mouse(4)". The same may be true of the
other driver pages referred to there.
Appologies if this has been fixed recently. I'm not keen to upgrade
