I am also using denyhosts v2.6-8.1 and having these weekly errors on
Sundays' mornings. I am surprised its fix hasn't been released through
apt-get so far. FYI:

If you're having problems with make-googleearth-package please use
sudo make make-googleearth-package --force and if that still doesn't
resolve your problem please report back.

On my old updated Debian box, I downloaded
http://dl.google.com/earth/client/current/GoogleEarthLinux.bin and ran
it and got those errors too. We're not alone either. See this old
thread:
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/earth/thread?tid=6f59e15bf811d4e2
... There is a reply with a manual

I downloaded
http://www.mortalonline.com/files/beta/MortalCache121618B.torrent and
tried to download
its files, but got an error:

These errors occurred during execution:

Ben, see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=567105 as
well which seems related. I still have this problem too.

It seems to be due to a problem in /etc/hosts. Could you please tell me
if you have IPv6 enabled on this machine, and send me (possibly
privately if they contains private information) the contents of
/etc/hosts, /etc/gai.conf and /etc/hostname?
I do not have any IPv6 network devices since I

Yesterday morning, I did an apt-get update and apt-get upgrade. Then, i
noticed my Samba was not working in Windows XP Pro. SP3. Explorer said:

Samba, but it did not work. I investigated and found Samba coredumping:

Josep, I think we both have the same problem. Mine crashes too after
updating a bunch of packages yesterday morning (update daily). I think
the crashes are causing by updated libc packages. See my details reply
earlier.
