After recent update of XEN package, there is not longer a problem with
suspend-to-ram. Bug appears to get closed.
A little update.
It seems, the bug may be related to XEN. Booting the system without XEN
does seem to be clear from this bug. System booted without XEN does
suspend and resume as before the update on May 28th.
