CVS version is slightly less stupid: It still only opens
levels relative to the Levels directory, but now, instead of simply
crashing when a level isn't found, it will create a new level with the
given name (works from the command-line).

A more permanent workaround is to set "LevelCache" to "false" in
~/.xmoto/config.dat.
