I tried a gdmchooser-launched xdmcp connection to ubuntu804 and that failed also. Earlier I reported that it succeeded. I added Enable=true in the [debug] section of /etc/gdm/gdm.conf on circle and re-tried the connection from dellbuntu to generate this information from /var/log/daemon.log on
