Package: cgmanager Version: 0.33-2+deb8u2etracker1 Severity: wishlist
Debian wheezy is still very popular and working very well as LXC host and guest os. Nevertheless, containerized on a recent os with cgmanager cgroups are unavailable to the guest os. With a backported version of cgmanager, cgroups are available again.
I've already tested to recompile cgmanager from jessie and it worked, like expected.
Please consider to backport your package to wheezy. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.10 APT prefers oldstable-updates APT policy: (500, 'oldstable-updates'), (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.6.4-1-ARCH (SMP w/4 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages cgmanager depends on: ii init-system-helpers 1.18~bpo70+1 ii libc6 2.13-38+deb7u11 ii libcgmanager0 0.33-2+deb8u2etracker1 ii libdbus-1-3 1.6.8-1+deb7u6 ii libnih-dbus1 1.0.3-4.1 ii libnih1 1.0.3-4.1 cgmanager recommends no packages. cgmanager suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
