Some update: I finally managed to remove and install Bluez-utils (3.36-3) by manually copying bluetoothd daemon from the backport package and now the package allows me but install and remove itself. I managed to get the system recognize (manually) my USB dongle, by using hciconfig hci0 up. (I'm

Apart from the main abnormalities referred to above. Bluetooth-applet also does not work properly: When I give the following command from non-priviliged console, it gives the following error, without returning back to command prompt: bluetooth-applet Bluetooth OBEX server failed: Bluez DBus
