is commented out:

I just upgraded X on a laptop (wdm was not touched) and I am now seeing this
problem with the wdm that was working. Version of WDM is 1.28-2.1

I have tried to use wdm on 4 different systems. Every time it fails the same
way. If I use xinit, X will come up.
