Nvi sometimes loses some japanese utf-8 chars on the next line
when joining lines with 'J' or ex j commnad.
Please examine with the atttached file.
(NOTE: it contais some japanese utf-8 chars.)
On the other hand, the force mode command "j!" has never lost.

Asciidoc can convert inline markup texts.

(with the default asciidoc.css).
