Package: general
Version: Sarge

I installed Debian Sarge from CD ISO, on a Pentium III pc.

The PC uses 10 Gb IDE hard disk, partition /dev/hda2 mounted as
/ and formated ext2.

The PC uses 10 Gb SCSI hard disk, partition /dev/sda1 mounted as
/home and formated as ext3.

When booting, Sarge try to do a fsck.ext3 on scsi disks before
the device exists, so it fails and finally don't mount scsi hard
disks (/dev/sda1 don't exists when Sarge try to do the fsck.ext3).

No problem when after booting I do a "mount /dev/sda1 /home -t
ext3" as root. No problem when after booting I do a "fsck.ext3
/dev/sda1" as root.

Just Sarge try to do an fsck of scsi disks before the device
exists, and the fsck then fails and Sarge don't mount the scsi
hard disks.
