There's a patch at gentoo (referenced in php.net's bug repport) that I
will give a try and commit if it works.

Sorry for the noise, I just added gcc-snapshot to the ignore list.
gcc-4.3 is the real origin of the problem but since upstream hasn't
created a 4.3 directory I'll better skip it for a while.
