Same problem here - Occurs when Application is compiled by GCC-4.0 -
Interestingly gdb indicates that the crash does not happen inside
Freewheeling but somewhere else in the system.
This behaviour goes away when the application is compiled using GCC-3.3 but I
am having onther issues with
Yeah I am able to reproduce these results more testing has revealed the
following.
Synaptic will not start with either kdesu or gksu so I don't think these have
anything to with it.
I can use synaptic as root only if I start using startx, startkde instead of
logging in with kdm or gdm (haven't
