This effects many other distributions and people often ask what's happening.
Adam Cecile, Mertens Florent and me offered to help the Debian maintainer,
and Flo sent an LSB compliant FUSE init file but the maintainer doesn't
reply repeated emails for some reason for about a month, so the FUSE
there is even a 2.6.1 version now :

The latest ntfs-3g needs fuse = 2.6.
This version of ntfs-3g fix a potentiel critical bug, so it could
be great to get the latest fuse, so we can get the latest ntfs-3g.
