Since upgrading from 31.6.0 the search bar fails to display drop down
list of alternative search engines; I have checked searchplugins and
they are still there and the search symbol displays a vague down arrow,
but does not indicate default engin

I am currently running 6.0.5 with kernel 3.2.0-0.bpo.2-amd64
I have tried to install both bpo.3 and bpo.4 and with both my CPU
