After the boot and the first login in gnome session,
gnome-volume-manager isn't started but if after a logout/login then
gnome-volume-manager starts and works well...

Sorry there is an error in my report the shortcut is CTRL+F9 (Side pane) which
is always inactive. Normally this option allows to see the metadata in a side
pane and it's more efficient than with the properties dialog.

the behavior of Gnome 2.20 if you'll plug two monitors on
the same PC but with two different screen resolution the fonts will appear
with a different size. For me it's a very bad behavior...

If you use tiffcp -c jpeg and then tiff2pdf without compression the pdf file is
displayed with the goods colors in acroread.
