Maybe this package should be deprecated? xclip seems to work better in
half the lines of code. I don't think xsel does a reliable job and it is
very large for what it does. I feel unsafe having relied on it during

At bug #734930 [1] eclipse seems to crash because it uses libwebkitgtk-1.0-0
instead of 3.0-0, see if that is causing your problems by uninstalling
1.0-0, if you have it at all installed that is.

Seriously, as long as this program is only available in one, for most

This is still an issue with libreoffice 4.1.0.4 and XFCE 4.8.
There is a solution that fixes this bug. From Synaptic Package Manager
install the package named libreoffice-gtk and close any LibreOffice
windows. Then restart libreoffice. This will fix this issue.

As of writing, Debian Wheezy, Jessie and Sid all ship kmod 9, which is
affected. A workaround is to downgrade to module-init-tools from Squeeze.
