Also the .strip('\0') is finaly not correct : it is what eat the Traling
zero for UTF-16LE. I attach a posible fix.

Xtla depends either on tla or on bazaar. Actually, Xtla is superseeded
by DVC (which has a Debian package, but not in the official Debian
repository), so it's probably time to drop this Xtla package if you
want to drop bazaar.
