This behaviour is only happening with files of .doc extension .
Checked with a new file and odt file . In both cases there is no crash
.

expected outcome : copy text
resulted outcome : crash of Abiword .
Crash information :

Debconf India mangalore edition . Kerala and pune editions have
already been finished .

Rationale: After MiniDebConf India we as in debian community from
India felt a need for a general purpose mailing list for everyone to
be on the same platform and to build inter relations among the
community .
Hence we all discussed at the Yahoo groups(

I support praveen suggestion that we need India specific list now that
we have got many new people joining and we couldn't send them to yahoo
groups .
