Yes after filing the bug report I found the same. I tried to ask to get the
bug report closed :)
My mistake and I have solved it by replacing all packages from jabber.at
and now all works well. Thanks for your help and excuse my ignorance!

Dear Maintainer,
On my Ubuntu system I get kernel update failures because of some existing
dpkg-statoverride rules. This led me to investigate how dpkg-statoverride
works, and I discovered that there's an --update option that according to h
CFLAGS="-Wl,--as-needed -O" ./configure
works (and builds) for me..
The -O is needed if want to test `make` afterwards and you are building on
x86, due to assembler inlines requires some level of optimization, else
gcc freaks out.

to me it's not properly
handling a tls handshake failure, but I don't see the bug yet.
As Michael said, the entropy was just as low before, but it worked with 238.
Besides, I have symlinked /dev/random to /dev/urandom, but I still have
this problem. Or isn't libnss-ldap using /

downgrade to 238-1.2 to be able to login locally... (And make all
services work...)
But, if I can do anything to help debug this, please say so.

I think mindterm behaves as initially said in this bug when port 22 is
firewalled on the client. It just downloads the applet, and sits there.
I'd think the only bug is that it's not telling you why it won't work.

Hi,
I've just done some quick testing, and want to hear what others have to
say about it, but I can't reproduce this with 4.52-2? The error was
still there with -1, but now it seems ok. Is that only me?
I'll do some more testing later tonight :)
