I had deliberately set the severity as serious to make it appear in apt- listbugs. Of course, one is free to disagree with my rationale, but it would be nice to document the reasons. I'm willing to concede that "important" is appropriate but: the concern expressed by Vincent Danjean is that folks may not be adequately alerted (by apt-listbugs) when upgrading that the video support is going away and there is no reasonable way to downgrade once you've installed this version.
