Hi Alberto,
Thanks for your reply. I've therefore uploaded in the non-DELAYED queue.
I've also pushed the changes to Salsa in a branch called "ack-nmu".
Weirdly, I couldn't create a merge request out of it, so you can simply
fetch that branch and merge into master and then delete that branch.
Hi Thomas and thanks for resolving the bug.
A few days ago I tried to upload a new version fixing the bug, but it
was silently ignored. At the moment I'm very busy and I don't have
time to debug the problem by uploading packages to the archive, so
your help to solve the bug with a NMU is welcome

Hi,
Please find attached debdiff to fix this bug.
I'll be uploading this to DELAYED/2 queue, as this is affecting a lot of
people/packages and we need a fix fast. Please let me know if you prefer
to fix it yourself and you wish me to "dcut rm" my upload.
Cheers,

Thanks for reporting Bastian,
I've reproduced the issue, but it seems not related to dpkg, arptables
fails to install when iptables isn't installed. I must review and
update arptables postinst script where alternatives are used.
