Package: evince Version: 43~alpha-1+b1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
When using evince with GNOME in dark mode, the text cursor in the annotation window is very difficult to see, because it is black on a dark background. See the attached screenshot. I built evince from upstream git here, and could reproduce the problem. I checked upstream bug reports first, and I saw several reports that could not be reproduced on different systems from where they were first seen. Since I don't have a GNOME build environment to be able to differentiate between a Debian-specific bug and a general bug, I am reporting this here on Debian first. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing-debug APT policy: (900, 'testing-debug'), (900, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental-debug'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.18.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN Locale: LANG=pt_BR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pt_BR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=pt_BR:pt:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages evince depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.40.0-3 ii evince-common 43~alpha-1 ii gsettings-desktop-schemas 43~alpha-1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.38.0-1 ii libc6 2.34-4 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.16.0-6 ii libcairo2 1.16.0-6 ii libevdocument3-4 43~alpha-1+b1 ii libevview3-3 43~alpha-1+b1 ii libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0 2.42.9+dfsg-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.72.3-1+b1 ii libgnome-desktop-3-20 43~alpha-3 ii libgtk-3-0 3.24.34-3 ii libhandy-1-0 1.7.90-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.50.9+ds-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.50.9+ds-1 ii libsecret-1-0 0.20.5-2 ii shared-mime-info 2.2-1 Versions of packages evince recommends: ii dbus-user-session [default-dbus-session-bus] 1.14.0-2 ii dbus-x11 [dbus-session-bus] 1.14.0-2 Versions of packages evince suggests: ii gvfs 1.50.2-1 pn nautilus-sendto <none> ii poppler-data 0.4.11-1 pn unrar <none> -- no debconf information
