You don't need to reinstall gimp, but you do need to make sure the
libglib2.0-0 package is version 2.74.0-2 or later. It should migrate to

Gimp crashes, when a text element is modified:
- open gimp, create new image
- create text element
- select some characters inside this text element
- change the font size

Similarly, opening a PDF in gimp, which then rasterizes it, and clicking using
the text tool and typing 1 character results in:
