Package: openjdk-17-jre-headless Version: 17.0.5+8-2 Severity: normal
Hey. IIRC, this has happened with (all)? previous openjdk versions, when transitioning from one major version to another, and presumably also when simply purging openjdk. The entries for update-binfmts are not correctly removed respectively upgraded. I've just switched from 11 to 17, but still: ~# update-binfmts --display jar (enabled): package = openjdk-11 type = magic offset = 0 magic = PK\x03\x04 mask = interpreter = /usr/bin/jexec detector = the registration is made for 11. It probably doesn't matter so much (though it's a bit ugly), but I've seen the maintainer scripts do contain some code which should properly unregister/register, but that doesn't seem to work. Any ideas? :-) Thanks, Chris. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable') merged-usr: no Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.0.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN Locale: LANG=en_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages openjdk-17-jre-headless depends on: ii ca-certificates-java 20220719 ii java-common 0.73 ii libasound2 1.2.7.2-1 ii libc6 2.35-4 ii libcups2 2.4.2-1+b2 ii libfontconfig1 2.13.1-4.5 ii libfreetype6 2.12.1+dfsg-3 ii libgcc-s1 12.2.0-7 ii libharfbuzz0b 5.2.0-2 ii libjpeg62-turbo 1:2.1.2-1+b1 ii liblcms2-2 2.13.1-1+b1 ii libnss3 2:3.83-1 ii libpcsclite1 1.9.9-1 ii libstdc++6 12.2.0-7 ii util-linux 2.38.1-1.1+b1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-4.1 openjdk-17-jre-headless recommends no packages.
