Package: libdmtx0b Version: 0.7.5-3+b1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: w...@ise.pw.edu.pl
Dear Maintainer, I have found a DMTX code which after printing and scanning causes dmtxread to freeze for a long time and finally fail. I attach three PNG files: 1. PNG extracted from PDF with the original code (without printing and scanning) - dmtx_orig.png 2. PNG printed and scanned with one resolution which decodes correctly - dmtx_scan_ok.png 3. PNG printed and scanned with another resolution - dmtx_scan_bad.png I have tested those codes with the Python scripts based on the pylibdmtx module. The results are the same, so I suppose that the problem is related to the underlying libdmtx0b library. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.0.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages libdmtx0b depends on: ii libc6 2.36-5 libdmtx0b recommends no packages. libdmtx0b suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
