Package: polipo Version: 1.1.1-10 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I noticed that polipo fails with a 502 error on certain non ssl websites like: http://neverssl.com After some digging I found those sites do request an upgrade to HTTP/2 via an Upgrade: h2,h2c Header. I attempted to 'censor' the Upgrade header, but Polipo still fails. I found, this is already fixed upstream 6 years ago: https://github.com/jech/polipo/issues/81 https://github.com/jech/polipo/commit/726e1390f1a0978f440ce8b216d7e54f37212da0 Thanks in advance to implement this fix on the debian version. -Benoit- -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 5.18.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU thread; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_SOFTLOCKUP Locale: LANG=de_CH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_CH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_CH:de Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages polipo depends on: ii libc6 2.36-7 ii lsb-base 11.5 ii sysvinit-utils [lsb-base] 3.06-2 Versions of packages polipo recommends: pn dnsmasq | pdnsd | unbound <none> pn python <none> polipo suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/polipo/config changed [not included] -- no debconf information
