Package: scanbd Version: 1.5.1-6build1 Severity: normal I am using the excellent AirSane (sadly unpackaged for Debian): https://github.com/SimulPiscator/AirSane
In order to get it to work, I had to increase MaxConnections to 2 for the scanbm.socket systemd unit file. I am sorry, it took me about 8 hours of work to get scanbd functional (I will be filing other bug reports that I hope are helpful), so I did not investigate this issue further to work out exactly what the problem is; but raising MaxConnections by 1 seems a fairly simple and low-risk workaround, if indeed there is a bug somewhere here. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers jammy-updates APT policy: (500, 'jammy-updates'), (500, 'jammy-security'), (500, 'jammy'), (100, 'jammy-backports') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.15.0-56-generic (SMP w/16 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_WARN, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages scanbd depends on: ii init-system-helpers 1.62 ii libc6 2.35-0ubuntu3.1 ii libconfuse2 3.3-2 ii libdbus-1-3 1.12.20-2ubuntu4.1 ii libsane1 1.1.1-5 ii libudev1 249.11-0ubuntu3.6 ii lsb-base 11.1.0ubuntu4 ii openbsd-inetd [inet-superserver] 0.20160825-5 ii sane-utils 1.1.1-5 ii update-inetd 4.51 scanbd recommends no packages. scanbd suggests no packages.
