We have fixed this by changing the Apache configuration on the server,
for the vhost git.dgit.debian.org.

Per bug#1032826, it looks like https://git.dgit.debian.org/git redirects
to browse.dgit.debian.org, which is not correct.
git.dgit.debian.org/PACKAGE should be PACKAGE's dgit-repos git repo.
Ian hypothesises some redirection installed by the cgit package.
Could it be removed, please?
