Comment 35 in upstream bugreport: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=466170#c35 Thanks for the backtrace, the problem in slotEmptyMessageTimer() is known and was fixed about 5 months ago. We seem to have forgotten the backport to digiKam-7.x.x when I look at the history. Only with digiKam-8.0
