when I started mediathekview the display was totally broken (see attached screenshot) when using sway (wayland). But I found a workaround in a german forum: https://forum.mediathekview.de/topic/3384/anzeige-probleme-unter-linux-mit-wayland-sway By opening it via `$ _JAVA_AWT_WM_NONREPARENTING=1 mediathekview` it works well. If this has no negative side effect for X users you might consider adding this to the .desktop starter to make mediathekview work also with sway.
