Package: bsdgames Version: 2.17-34 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: j...@whitehouse.gov
Dear Maintainer, This package includes desktop files in /usr/share/applications/bsdgames All of them include `Terminal=True` which should be lowercase `Terminal=true`. Some of these desktop files should be removed for programs that need input on the command line, such as "wtf", as they immediately exit (by design) when launched with no arguments. Even with `Terminal=true` fixed, they will not launch from my menu in GNOME where they are. Could be a GNOME problem. The games themselves work fine from command line, but in addtion to menu not starting them, if I use gtk-launch it won't find them in /usr/share/applications/bsdgames, only if I move them to /usr/share/applications. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-23-686 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages bsdgames depends on: ii libc6 2.39-6 ii libfl2 2.6.4-8.2+b2 ii libgcc-s1 14.2.0-1 ii libncurses6 6.5-2 ii libstdc++6 14.2.0-1 ii libtinfo6 6.5-2 ii wamerican [wordlist] 2020.12.07-2 bsdgames recommends no packages.
