I can't tell if I already tampered with them. Hmmm, except that one

P.S. for me one must rewrite /etc/resolvconf/update-libc.d/fetchmail.

But not for me, see #2

Anyway, this is 95% failure prone for an average person, and when one
looks back later, one cannot be sure how one has tangled things.
One line in a /etc/defaults file would be better.
