Followup-For: Bug #237050

Proftpd dies with signal 11 when shadow passwords not installed (dies
during non-anonymous user authorization). After
reconfiguring passwd and turning on shadows - all works fine.

Although not using shadow passwords is not secure - proftpd shouldn't
require it.
