Package: lha Version: 1.14i-10.3 Followup-For: Bug #240830
I concur with the original poster... According to the admin of the maintained version (quoting him): "Developping of the LHa for UNIX on the <http://www2m.biglobe.ne.jp/~dolphin/lha/lha.htm> is stopped (It's maintained by Tsugio Okamoto, but he is too busy) So, I branched the LHa for UNIX and o Autotoolized (autoconf/automake) o Fixed some bugs (include the serious security bugs) o Added some features. (see the Manual page: http://svn.sourceforge.jp/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/lha/trunk/man/lha.1?rev=889&root=lha&view=markup) As far as I know, It is only currently maintained." (end quote) The author is also developing an MIT licensed LHA. If you're interested, please contact him. Note that this maintainer is very responsive and a very constructive person. Please consider basing the Debian package on his branch. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages lha depends on: ii libc6 2.7-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries lha recommends no packages. lha suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
