  I am not sure it will help or is relevant, but this lib is also required
when installing Oracle (I am absolutely sure for Oracle8 & Oracle9, but
can't remember for Oracle10) that is still using its own 1.3 VM.

  When installing Oracle on a Debian machine I apt-get install
libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2.
