Bug#286729: prboom: Does not start Illegal instruction

Running prboom just results in the message Illegal instruction. I cannot reproduce this on my system. Can you please run prboom from inside gdb and provide a backtrace from where it receives the SIGILL, preferably with debug symbols compiled in? I've just installed prboom using apt-build
