Package: totem
Version: 0.100-1
Followup-For: Bug #289470
totem crashes on startup for me too, I am not running any experimental
packages. Here is the backtrace from gdb:

Hi,
I was having a similar problem here, totem(-xine) crashing immediately
on startup. I was running the GTK 2.6 libs from experimental, dropping
back to 2.4 from unstable fixed the problem. Vladimir you mentioned the
experimental repository, are you using GTK from there?

I think flac transition went smoothly, so I did:
- apt-get -u build-dep libxine1, everything went fine
- DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="nostrip noopt" apt-get source -b libxine1
building ends with next error:
make[6]: Entering directory
`/home/kerka/root/xine-lib-1.0/

Yes, and cdrom0 is a symlink, which points to

Thanks, I've an idea of what could be wrong. Could you paste the ouput
of a "gconftool-2 -R /apps/totem" ?
