this is very strange since the file is not installed in the post-install
scripts but when all the other files are installed, too.

If you did a dist-upgrade then you must have installed some older
version of LAM before. But when I take a look at your apt-get output it

I believed the first installation didn't create it
because I chose none when asked for apache
configuration.
